Telehealth

Telehealth

Telehealth is a way to continue your physiotherapy at home.

Telehealth consultations are also a great alternative for those who may find it difficult to access high-quality physiotherapy services due to

  • Living in rural or remote areas
  • Those with busy work or family lives
  • Government restrictions

How Telehealth works

If you need a telehealth appointment, please speak to one of our friendly reception staff and they will book an appointment with one of our highly skilled physiotherapists.

Once your appointment has been booked, you will receive an email with a link to our secure platform. Do not worry if you can’t find your email, call the clinic before your appointment and we can resend it.

You will need access to reliable internet and a device such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or if using a desktop computer you will also need a camera and a microphone.

When it is time for your appointment, click on the link “JOIN APPOINTMENT”.  When the physiotherapist is ready, they will join you and your appointment will begin. You do not need to download any software.

It is a good idea to have your device propped up on a table and that you have reasonable space around you so that the physiotherapist can see your whole body as you may need to perform some movement tests and demonstrate your exercises.

Make sure you set up in a private space so you can confidently share any personal information and that you won’t be interrupted.

Telehealth has proven to be a valuable addition to our services and is a great way to stay connected with your physiotherapist, to stay motivated and to keep working towards your goals.
