Nicole Simmons

B. App. Sc. (Physio)

Nicole completed a bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy in 1997 and has completed her Masters of Clinical Rehabilitation (Neurological Physiotherapy) at Flinders University in 2018.

Nicole worked initially in the public sector in Adelaide working in Neurological Rehabilitation. She then worked for many years in the private sector as a Senior Physiotherapist, providing neurological physiotherapy to both inpatients and outpatients. In 2001 Nicole gained further experience as a Senior Physiotherapist in various neurological Rehabilitation settings in the UK and became Superintendent Physiotherapist at the Bobath Centre in London, before returning home to Adelaide in 2005.

Nicole has completed many international courses including four Advanced Bobath courses and is highly regarded for her skills in therapeutic handling. Nicole began the Bobath Tutor Training Program in 2016 but withdrew in 2019 to focus on growing Advanced Neuro Rehab and family.

Nicole currently works 3 clinical days a week in the practice providing therapy both in the rooms and home visits. Neurological physiotherapy has been her passion since graduating with a particular interest in Muscular Dystrophy , stroke and brain injury. She strives to make physiotherapy sessions enjoyable and challenging to all her clients and pushes her clients to achieve their goals.
