Eileen Ting
B. App. Sc. (Physio) MSc (Neuro Physio)
Eileen has been part of our team since 2012. She is one of our senior physiotherapists, with special interest and advanced clinical skills in managing complex vestibular and neurological conditions. She has completed a Masters of Clinical Rehabilitation at Flinders University, graduating in the top 5% of her cohort.
Eileen has also been involved in a number of research projects, more recently with a focus on developing exercise programs for people with Parkinson’s disease, for which she was awarded the Parkinson’s SA Research Scholarship, and presenting this at the APA National Conference in 2019. She continues to work closely with Parkinson’s SA, providing education for patients and health professionals, and has also been a key developer of the Parkinson’s Fightback program, offered at Advanced Neuro rehab, a novel neurophysiotherapist-led exercise program for people with Parkinson disease.
Eileen would describe her work helping her patients achieve their goals, as one of her greatest passions. Eileen is a passionate advocate for physical activity herself and you’ll usually find her outdoors trail running, kayaking and hiking outdoors in her spare time. She’s no stranger to hard work and commitment, having trained for and competed in a number of ultramarathons. So if you’re looking for a highly motivated coach, she might just be the one for you!
