Vanessa Wittwer

B. App. Sc. (Physio)

Vanessa graduated from the University of South Australia in 2013 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy.
Vanessa had a strong interest in working with the neurological population prior to graduating
through personal experience and has continued with this passion throughout her career. Vanessa
initially started her career rurally experiencing a variety of neurological presentations in both
hospital and community setting and then spent time honing her skills in the NHS in England.

Vanessa has a passion for empowering people to lead their best lives in any situation through goal
orientated, wholistic therapy. Vanessa enjoys working with all neurological conditions, but has a
special interest in Functional Neurological Disorder, Concussion, Dementia and all conditions that
cause Dizziness.

Vanessa has a strong passion to continue learning and be the best therapist she can be. For this
reason, she commenced her Master’s in Neurological Physiotherapy through Flinders University in
2021 and is due to finish at the end of 2023. Vanessa throughout her career has also completed
courses in in PNF, Dementia, Pain in the neurological population, Bobath upper limb facilitation and
also she is certified for Dry Needling.

Outside of work you will find Vanessa reading, running, cycling and relaxing. Vanessa loves nothing
better than a Chai Latte and a laugh with friends.
